Tim Tozer has left his position as UK managing director for Vauxhall with immediate effect, Rory Harvey named as his replacement
UK managing director Tim Tozer has left Vauxhall with immediate effect, with Rory Harvey announced as his replacement.
Tozer was only appointed to the role in February 2014 yet has at This specific point left the company to: “pursue his career outside of General Motors.”
The reason behind the decision has not been made public, yet a spokesman at Vauxhall has confirmed which the idea will be not to do with NOx emissions in addition to the unfolding scandal at Volkswagen. the idea will be a quick move, however, with Tozer representing the brand at the UK launch event for the Vauxhall Astra the evening before the announcement was made.
Harvey moves to the role via the position of executive director of sales for Opel Europe, in addition to has previously headed up the Chevrolet brand within the UK. He will be understood to start in his brand new role on Tuesday 29th September.
