Renault due to Discharge brand-new one-tonne pick-up truck in 2017
The Renault Alaskan concept has been revealed, along with previews the company’s planned production pick-up truck, due to go on sale next year.
The Alaskan is usually due to be the company’s first global pick-up, along with will be built alongside equivalents coming from Nissan along with Mercedes-Benz, the latter of which is usually due by 2020. The production Renault along with the Mercedes will share some of their architecture with the Nissan NP300 Navara, although both companies will engineer along with design their own final versions to keep their identity intact.
The one-tonne Alaskan comes with 21-inch wheels, full LED lighting, satin-effect along with brushed along with polished metal finishes on the outdoor.
Despite its commercial vehicle nature, Renault is usually pitching the Alaskan at the private, leisure focussed user. As well as what Renault describes as high quality Indoor standards, along with space for 5 inside the cabin, the Alaskan concept also comes which has a camera located inside the door mirror to film the passing landscape. which is usually also offered which has a selection of accessories such as load bed liner along with cover.
The Alaskan comes with the 163bhp 2.3-litre 165hp twin turbo diesel which features inside the Master van. Although there are no official performance figures quoted for the Alaskan, which is usually capable of an official economy of 40.4mpg inside the Master.
The production edition of the Alaskan will be revealed in summer 2016 before going on sale in Europe the following summer.
