Toyota’s Kikai concept car will be unveiled at the Tokyo motor show later This specific month, along with also also aims to “emphasise the fundamental appeal of machines: their fine craftsmanship, their beauty, simplicity along with also also their fascinating motion.”

The theme of the concept can be to bring the elements which are usually hidden under bodywork to the outside of your vehicle – on the concept, the suspension arms, fuel tank, exhaust pipes along with also also engine are all on your vehicle’s outdoor.

Inside, the three-seat cabin features a pared-back design with large analogue dials along with also also no stereo or infotainment screens.

Toyota said: “While most vehicles conceal their inner workings beneath smooth sheet metal, This specific concept encourages us to appreciate the complex beauty of the mechanical aspects of cars. More broadly, which reminds us of the appeal of the physical along with also also tactile in a digital age.” No details of your vehicle’s powertrain have been revealed.

Also on display in Tokyo will be the S-FR entry-level sports car concept, along with also also the FCV Plus hydrogen fuel-cell-powered car.
