McLaren will showcase its McLaren Special Operations tuning division at next month’s Geneva show with bespoke versions of the P1 in addition to 675LT Spider
The one-off 675LT Spider features ceramic grey paintwork, a carbonfibre retractable hard-top (saving 1kg of weight), in addition to carbonfibre louvres around the front wings. Carbonfibre weave can be also used for the vehicle’s airbrake at the rear. Only 500 examples of the regular 675LT Spider will be made, all of which have already been sold.
Inside, the vehicle features black Alcantara seats with contrasting yellow stitching, in addition to unique colour detailing. The titanium exhaust system also receives a 24-carat gold heat shield.
The MSO 675LT Spider can be unchanged mechanically, meaning This particular retains its twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V8 engine, which produces 666bhp in addition to 516lb ft of torque. The Spider variant matches the 675LT coupé by 0-62mph, having a time of 2.9sec, in addition to carries a top speed of 203mph.
The bespoke McLaren P1, meanwhile, receives a full ‘visual’ carbonfibre Centeng conversion in addition to also features brand new black alloy wheels, black Alcantara trim inside with contrasting blue stitching, in addition to the same gold heat shield as the 675LT Spider.
Also present on McLaren’s Geneva show stand will be the 650S GT3 race car.
