Motorpoint Staff Take On Charity Challenge
Motorpoint Chingford staff are busy training for the gruelling Spartan Beast later This specific month.
Half a dozen members of staff through the UK’s leading car supermarket are set to push themselves to the limit on Sunday, September 27 when they take part inside gruelling 20 kilometre Spartan Beast at Ashburnham Place in East Sussex.
Led by Sales Manager Rob Jones, the team will have to run, climb in addition to crawl their way across 20 plus unique obstacles set out inside grounds of the 220-acre estate – all of them designed to test a person’s strength, agility, tenacity in addition to endurance. They are hoping to raise a minimum of £1,000 for Haven House Children’s Hospice inside process.
“We’re all training hard at the moment to make sure we’re inside best shape possible for the Spartan Beast,” explained Rob Jones, a former professional rugby player. “None of us has ever done anything like This specific before so we don’t know what to expect although if This specific raises lots of money for Haven House then This specific will all have been worth This specific.”
Motorpoint Chingford, which is actually based on Lea Valley Road in Chingford, recently adopted Haven House as its Official Charity Partner. Its staff are involved in a series of fundraisers over the coming weeks in addition to months including the Spartan Beast.
