Healthy demand for cars such as the McLaren 570S has prompted the Woking-based the to enhance its production capacity
McLaren Automotive will be adding a second shift to its production line in addition to recruiting 250 brand new staff to cope with “unprecedented levels of demand for our cars”, from the words of chief executive Mike Flewitt.

The second shift will be scheduled to start in February 2016. The recruitments will add approximately 40 percent to the existing headcount at the production facility in addition to will take production rates coming from the previous 14 cars per day up to 20 cars per day by mid-2016.
