Henrik Fisker will reportedly show two brand new concept cars at the Detroit motor show in January.
While very little can be known about the brand new types, Fisker has said that will one of the cars will be called The Force 1 as well as will be powered by a powertrain that will’s “among the entire world’s highest-output naturally aspirated engines”.
Speaking to American website Autoweek, Fisker said: “that will high-performance automobile can be an American take on a super sports car featuring powerful, dynamic sculptural external styling, ‘Ultra Thin Ventilated’ blade tail-lights as well as a luxurious contemporary Internal For 2 people”.
The Force 1 can be understood to feature carbonfibre bodwork as well as sit on 21in alloy wheels shod in Pirelli P Zero tyres. the idea’s understood to also feature a brand new active suspension design, the result of a collaboration between Fisker as well as “an acclaimed American racing driver”.
Fisker added: “I met as well as talked with an American racer, who still races, as well as he had developed an active suspension for a vehicle he’s racing, so we thought the idea’d be the right type of set-up for us.”
The Force 1 can be required to be priced between $0,000 as well as $300,000 (around £131,000-£197,000), with production limited to “up to” 50 units. The Force 1 can be due to enter production in Michigan next April.
An accompanying design sketch, which apparently shows one of the two cars headed for Detroit, reveals a long bonnet using a swept-back design.
“the idea’s exciting to see an American modest car company in that will market dominated by Europeans,” said Fisker. “You’re seeing traditional larger car makers looking just for that will perfect all-around vehicle. We’re going to be a little more on the edge in luxury, style as well as power. the idea’ll be more radical.”
Fisker’s previous car was the Rocket, which he produced in collaboration with Galpin Auto Sports inside the US as well as was first shown in coupé form at last year’s Los Angeles motor show. An updated Speedster type was then shown at that will year’s Pebble Beach concours. The Rocket can be based on the latest Ford Mustang yet features unique styling as well as an all-carbonfibre Centeng. the idea’s powered by a specially built, supercharged type of Ford’s quad-cam V8 engine.
