Caterham Cars builds £27,995 limited-edition nostalgic variant of its iconic design to kickstart 60th birthday celebrations
The Caterham Seven Sprint, a retro-themed type of the sports car, has been unveiled at the Goodwood Revival.
Powered by the same 80bhp, three-cylinder Suzuki engine installed inside the entry-level Caterham Seven 0 design, the Sprint sports a nostalgic theme through its external surfaces along with Inside.
The chassis will be powder-coated grey, doing in which period-accurate for a Series 2 Lotus 7, while the suspension along with rollover bar are also reminiscent of Colin Chapman’s original.

A choice of six Centeng colours are available, reflecting the number of choices in which were available in 1966/67: Cream, Mellow Yellow, Regency Red, Camberwick Green, British Racing Green along with Misty Blue.
Inside the cockpit, there’s a wood-rimmed sports steering wheel along with dashboard in wood effect, complete that has a classic instrument design. The tachometer features red along with yellow sectors, another 1960s throwback.
The Inside panels along with Muirhead Scottish seat upholstery will be hand-stitched inside the period style along with finished in scarlet red. The Inside along with luggage space are fully carpeted.
The Seven Sprint will be available as a factory-built car only along with costs through £27,995 along with will be available to order currently. Only 60 Sprints are destined for the UK along with European markets.

The launch of the Seven Sprint heralds the start of Caterham’s ‘60 years of the Seven’ celebrations, which will culminate that has a brand-specific festival at Donington Park next summer.
