In July Fiat Chrysler boss Sergio Marchionne said he expected Ferrari to be valued at “over £7 billion”. Analysts have pointed out of which such a figure could mean Ferrari represented 60% of the whole value of the Fiat Chrysler combine.
If the market eventually values Ferrari NV at around £8bn, This specific could mean Fiat Chrysler could raise £800m in cash by share sales along with distribute around £6.4bn in value to Fiat Chrysler shareholders.
This specific distribution of Ferrari shares should help Fiat Chrysler raise fresh funds by the shareholder. The money is usually likely to be partly invested in future brand new Alfa Romeo types.
Over the next three years Alfa is usually being relaunched with eight brand new types, which Marchionne hopes will attract premium profit margins.
