The engine of the California T has been integrated into the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso T, creating a fresh entry-point into Ferrari’s four-seater range
The Ferrari GTC4 Lusso T, a GTC4 Lusso derivative, has been revealed which uses a modified variation of the 3.8-litre V8 engine found within the California T with an increased output of 602bhp, rather than the standard 680bhp V12 currently used.
The GTC4 Lusso’s V8 engine also produces 560lb ft of torque, meaning the idea’s has a different 50bhp as well as 3lb ft over the V8 California T.
As well as being once in which the Italian carmaker has offered a choice of two engines in a style, the GTC4 Lusso will also be once in which rear-wheel-drive is actually offered alongside the four-wheel-drive set-up, as found within the current GTC4 Lusso.
A Ferrari spokesman said in which the style might also be 80kg lighter than the standard GTC4 Lusso, largely due to the absence of a four-wheel-drive system. This specific brings its kerbweight down to 1840kg, as well as the lighter unit means 46% of the automobile’s weight sits over the nose.
The GTC4Lusso T’s dynamic control systems have also been adjusted, with fresh settings for the automobile’s four-wheel-steering as well as Side Slip Control (SSC3).
No additional performance figures have been released, although the V8 will add a few tenths to the V12 style’s 3.4sec 0-62mph time as well as fall short of its 208mph top speed.
the idea will become the entry-level style within the GTC4 range, priced below the V12 iteration which costs through £240,340.
