Mitsubishi unveils revamped Outlander at fresh York motor show
The updated car, which takes styling inspiration through last year’s Outlander PHEV Concept-S, Mitsubishi says the updated Outlander also shows off the firm’s fresh design language.
Mitsubishi says the idea has comprehensively redesigned the seven-seat SUV, adding fresh LED lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, along with also fresh styling details at the front along with also rear.
The facelifted Outlander also gains elements through previous Mitsubishi concepts like including the XR-PHEV along with also GC-PHEV.
Underneath, the Japanese some sort of says the idea has strengthened your vehicle’s chassis, redesigned its suspension setup, reduced noise along with also vibrations inside, added electric power steering.
Inside, facelifted Outlander types get a redesigned steering wheel, a fresh infotainment system along with also an updated range of safety tech – including forward collision warning, lane departure warning, along with also adaptive cruise control.
Mitusbishi hasn’t released details of the facelifted Outlander’s powertrain or when the fresh style might arrive inside the UK. However, the current Outlander gets a 2.2-litre diesel motor however will be also available in 2.0-litre PHEV form as well.
Speaking at the launch of the fresh car, Mitsubishi Motors North America vice president Don Swearingen said: “Mitsubishi’s outstanding sales momentum will be carrying into the fresh year along with also with the arrival of the 2016 Outlander crossover we are well positioned to sustain our growth.”
