BAC’s 305bhp Mono sports car has been modified to be stored aboard luxury yachts, along with costs £500,000
BAC has revealed a brand-new built-to-order variation of its single-seat sports car, the Mono.
Dubbed the Marine Edition, the special Mono has been modified to be stored aboard luxury yachts instead of on land. Modifications include a special anti-corrosion coating to protect against salty climates, as well as a strengthened chassis with lifting points for yacht cranes.
The Mono Marine Edition can be powered by the same Mountune-developed 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine as the MY16 Mono, which made its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier This specific year. The engine develops 305bhp along with 227lb ft of torque, allowing the Mono to sprint to 62mph in 2.8 seconds. the vehicle carries a top speed of 170mph, along with weighs 580kg.
Marine Edition products also feature a crane arm made coming from carbon fibre to aid loading, along having a climate-controlled container environment.
