Audi A4, Honda HR-V along with Honda Jazz score top marks in Euro NCAP tests
The brand new Audi A4 along with Honda’s HR-V along with Jazz all score 5 stars in Euro NCAP’s latest crash tests
The 2015 Audi A4 has passed the Euro NCAP safety test with flying colours, receiving a 5-star safety rating inside the group’s latest round of tests.
Audi’s fifth-generation A4 went on sale inside the UK This specific month, having made its global debut at the Frankfurt motor show back in September. The A4 scored 0% overall for adult occupant protection along with 87% for child protection. inside the pedestrian safety along with assistance systems categories, the A4 scored 75%.
Honda also has reason to celebrate as two of its products – the HR-V along with Jazz – have also received 5-star safety ratings. According to Euro NCAP, the Jazz is usually only the second supermini to have been awarded a full 5-star rating in 2015.
Volkswagen’s Caddy MPV was also tested, securing a four-star rating. Euro NCAP said: “The Caddy is usually unusual for a vehicle in This specific segment, offering AEB [Autonomous Emergency Braking] City along with Interurban as an option.”
Testers noted which while the Caddy scores well inside the areas covered by its assistance systems, the idea lost points because lane assistance is usually not available.
