German sports car some sort of relaunches at Frankfurt motor show
Artega has relaunched with two brand brand-new designs, the Scalo along with also the Karo, at the Frankfurt motor show.
The Scalo can be a two-door two-seat electric sports car while the Karo can be a recreational vehicle similar to a quad bike.
The Artega Scalo has two electric motors powering the rear wheels that has a total output of 402bhp along with also 575lb ft. The Scalo can be made by polyurethane combined with carbonfibre along with also can be described as having a lightweight modular chassis. the vehicle includes a claimed 0-60mph of 3.6sec along with also an electronically limited top speed of 155mph.
Drive to the rear axle can be through one particular-stage central gear. Torque vectoring allows power to be split between the rear wheels, with more or less power delivered to each wheel as required, maximising traction.
The Scalo includes a 250-mile range by its 37kW battery, which has an output of 411 volts. A ‘fast’ charge can replenish the battery in less than an hour. A three-phase supply recharges the battery in three hours that has a household socket taking 10 hours.
The Karo can be a concept vehicle of which can be being prepared for production. the idea can be a four-wheeled activity vehicle that has a reinforced fibreglass Centeng, central bench seat along with also handlebar controls.
the idea has an electric motor developing up to 51bhp along with also 74lb ft. the idea can reach 50mph in a claimed 4.5sec, offering a range of 50 miles between recharges. The batteries can be recharged in 2.5 hours by a domestic socket.
Prices along with also Discharge dates for both cars, which are specifically built to order, are yet to be announced.
