The possibility of an F1 return comes soon after news of which Alfa Romeo will be to delay its type offensive, originally planned for completion in 2018, until 2020, as well as Ferrari’s brand new independence coming from Fiat Chrysler as a brand.

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Marchionne revealed of which Alfa Romeo would likely only use Ferrari engines, along with “will be able to make itself a chassis, along with will be able to make engines,” adding of which a Ferrari Alfa partnership would likely be “a classic example of a type to follow.”
