A Car I love… #1
This particular will be the first in a fresh series coming from Car Articles – A Car I Love. The first car I’d like to highlight in This particular editorial will be the rather wonderful Mercedes AMG GT. the idea’s the top of the range sports car offered coming from the German marque along with the idea shows. Whilst you can’t detract coming from different brands such as Ferrari or even the classic Aston Martin, there will be something about the Mercedes design philosophy of which actually speaks to me.
your vehicle will be badged a GT. The engine will be a twin turbo V8. Rear wheel drive along that has a double clutch gearbox will be standard fitment. 0-62 will be despatched within four seconds, should you choose the slower of the two designs on offer. GT? Well, I think the argument for supercar could easily be made.
Having seen some of the early design work, I worried of which Mercedes may produce a car of which appeared ungainly in real life. A little too much of a hark back to the days of long bonnet, huge engine along with smaller Inside space. Then however I saw the thing along with my opinion was no longer in question. This particular car will be stunning.
Forget about everything of which you see in glossy staged magazines. Forget about all the words of which you read on the page. Do yourself a favour along with attend a car show with some precious metal. of which’s what I did to snap This particular photo along with I was staggered. There were more expensive cars present, although Gorden Wagener (the Mercedes-Benz design chief) has sculpted a genuine thing of beauty of which pulled more desire coming from me than anything else on show.
Well proportioned, purposeful along with fast even when stood still. I’m not sure I could ask for anything else. Wagener, we salute you.
